As is known, there will be a second election in the following regions: Amazonas, Cajamarca, Callao, Cusco, Lambayeque, Lima provinces, Moquegua, Pasco and Piura, because none of the participating groups exceeded the 30% vote threshold required by electoral law.

In an interview with the El Comercio group, the ONPE spokesperson reported that more than 3,400 polling stations will be installed for this process and “they will mostly be the same places” of the first round.
