To assess the economic health of an African continent deemed less poor than impoverished, the International Monetary Fund (IMF) continues to rely on gross domestic product (GDP), in dollars currents, of the countries that compose it. Just as there are inequalities within each national community, all African nations are not housed in the same ringing and stumbling boat. On this national GDP indicator, the latest data confirms the predominance of Nigeria, Egypt and South Africa. Sud, with respectively 477, 475 and 406 billion dollars annually.
