It is expected that up to 8 teams from the first division competition will be reluctant to travel outside the UAE for their summer camps.
Some teams had already taken their decision to fly to international destinations to prepare for the 2022-2023 season, such as Dibba Al-Hisn, which will camp in Turkey, the Emirates (Falcons), which will prepare in Serbia, and Masafi in its upcoming camp in Egypt.
On the other hand, the Al-Uruba (Fujairah Green), Al-Jazirah Al-Hamra, Al-Arabi and Al-Taawun teams announced their intention to be satisfied with internal preparation camps.
The Emirati newspaper, “Al Bayan”, suggested that the Fujairah (Wolves) teams, Al Rams, Gulf FC and City would also stay on the country’s soil.
