From the late director Atef Salem, Ebeid said that before her contract with a production company expired, company officials offered her to star in two other films, one of which was “Rabaa El-Adawiya,” which Atef did not welcome.
Then Obaid hinted to him that the great age difference between them will show more and more negative effects as he gets older, so Atef had no choice but to throw a glass of water in her face, and Obaid added that if it weren’t for the divine providence that helped her move her head away from the cup, something unimaginable would have happened. She added that, after this situation, she asked him for a divorce immediately, and indeed he took her in his car and went to her mother’s house, where they brought the marriage contract and went to the Ma’zoun, and the divorce took place.
Their marriage lasted about 4 years until the divorce occurred in 1967 because of that fact that she narrated, in addition to his intense jealousy and refusal to continue working in art. She also admitted in one of her television interviews that he treated her harshly and that she regretted marrying him.

Years after her first marriage to director Atef Salem, Nabila Obeid married director Ashraf Fahmy in 1979, while filming her movie “The investigation is still going on”, and they separated as soon as the film ended, and this is what she revealed in a television interview years ago, but his daughter Jala Fahmy denied the matter completely, and said that if he had married Nabila Obeid, he would have told her so.
Her third and fourth marriage was secret, and she did not disclose them at the time. As for her last marriage, it was with the famous politician “Osama Al-Baz”, which lasted for nine years and did not announce it at the time, but she announced it after their separation, stressing that he was the man she loved the most in her life and she had stated the matter in an episode of the “One of the People” program with Media Amr Al-Leithi years ago. At the same time, Osama Al-Baz issued a statement denying this marriage, and Nabila Obeid returned to confirm that she had married him and that the matter was not a secret to those close to them.
