Al-Marsad newspaper: The Oral Health Foundation said there are a number of things a person can do at home, including regular oral examinations to detect oral cancer.
The Foundation identified the signs of oral cancer detection from home, which are:
• Sores that do not heal within three weeks.
• Any unusual red or white spots.
• Lumps in the neck or jaw area.
• Persistent hoarseness.
If a person has these symptoms, it is recommended to consult a dentist or doctor.
The Oral Health Foundation says that even if nothing is seriously wrong, a test can “save your life.”
