In full concert at the Mineirão stadium in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, Metallica vocalist James Hetfield revealed his most sensitive side in front of thousands of attendees. Through tears, he said he felt “a little old and insecure” before going on stage.
“I have to tell you, I wasn’t feeling very well before I came here. I felt insecure. I felt that I am already oldI can’t touch this shit. That’s what I was telling myself in my head. So I talked to these guys and they helped me, simple as that,” the 58-year-old singer said.
In social networks circulate videos in which it is seen how the musician takes a moment to talk about the insecurities he felt before starting this latest tour in Brazilian territory.
After seeing the response from his teammates and the public, Hetfield assured that he no longer felt “alone”.
“They hugged me and told me that if I felt bad on stage, they would support me. Now seeing all of you here, I know I am not alone and neither are any of you,” she said.
