Vyacheslav Tikhonov was one of the brightest artists of the Soviet Union. With his first wife, actress Nonna Mordyukova, the artist has been married for more than ten years. However, despite the birth of a common child – the actress gave her husband a son, Vladimir – Nonna Mordyukova filed for divorce.
Nonna Mordyukova and Vyacheslav Tikhonov met on the set of the film “Young Guard”. She was 22 at the time, he was 19. A romance broke out between the actors, which grew into a serious feeling. Many fans claimed that the spouses did not suit each other in temperament, however, in the first years of married life, the newlyweds managed to find a common language. The stormy relationship between the spouses burned out, leaving two completely different people nearby. The discord in the family almost led to a divorce, but the marriage of the actors was saved by the little son Vladimir.
Nonna Mordyukova and Vyacheslav Tikhonov disappeared on the set, built an acting career, they were not up to the family. The artist often complained to her mother, she wanted to leave her husband. However, for a long time she did not dare to speak frankly with Tikhonov. Outwardly, their marriage looked prosperous. A handsome husband, whom all the women of the Soviet Union dreamed of – what else could an actress dream of? However, this was not enough for Nonna Mordyukova. The marriage of the acting couple broke up in 1963.
Four years later, Vyacheslav Vasilievich met Tamara Ivanovna – they both voiced the French film “Man and Woman”. The couple lived together for 42 years, they had a daughter, Anna, who followed in the footsteps of the famous father. In 2005, Anya became a mother, she gave Vyacheslav Tikhonov grandchildren, giving birth to twins George and Vyacheslav. The actor spent a lot of time with the kids, nursed them, as he once did his daughter.
Vyacheslav Tikhonov died on December 4, 2009. Shortly before his death, the actor underwent vascular surgery. Despite the fact that the surgical intervention was successful, Vyacheslav Vasilyevich’s kidneys failed, then he was connected to a ventilator. However, the doctors failed to save the actor.
