This Saturday 6 will be held the long-awaited coronation of King Charles III. Interviewed at the microphone of the radio broadcast Triple M Breakfast Brisbane, the American actor explained that he had not been invited. “It’s probably due to the last time I was introduced to royalty”.
Indeed, the actor of “Gladiator” has already been introduced to princes William and Harry in the past, and the meeting would not have gone as planned. Russel Crowe has revealed that he struggles with the ways and customs of royalty. “The squire comes to talk to you and says: ‘When you talk to a prince, you must call him like this, this, this and that’. But the problem is, it’s just not in my DNA to talk like that. I’m always respectful and always very happy to meet people, but ‘Your Highness’ stuff, that’s just not in my nature.”
Russel Crowe even reportedly blurted out a “my mate” when addressing one of the princes. “I thought the squire was going to faint,” he recalled, very amused.
