Currently, Sanju’s performance is being compared to Lucknow Supergiants skipper KL Rahul. The recently out-of-form star’s continued presence in the Indian team has created a lot of anger among cricket fans. Many times Indian cricket fans have raised the question why Sanju, who has a batting average higher than Rahul in ODIs, is not getting a national place. But the consideration was only for KL Rahul.

Meanwhile, former Indian opener Virender Sehwag is of the opinion that Rahul is performing better than Sanju. Sehwag made his comments in a special program of cricket media Cricbuss ahead of the match between Sanju’s Rajasthan Royals and Rahul’s Lucknow Super Giants in the IPL today on April 19.
“When it comes to consideration for the Indian team, I believe KL Rahul is better than Sanju Samson. Rahul has played in Test matches, scored a century, including overseas. Rahul has done well as an opener in ODIs. He has done well in T20s,” Sehwag said on the Cricbuss show ahead of the Rajasthan LSG match.
KL Rahul has returned to form. He scored a half-century in the last match. Some may not be satisfied with Rahul’s performance but that form is a big sign, Sehwag said. Meanwhile, Rajasthan has no pacer other than Trent Boult. Sehwag added that there are dangerous spinners, but if Rahul bats for too long, it will be a danger for them.
Meanwhile, Rajasthan Royals are at the top of the IPL points table with eight points from five matches. If LSG can beat Rajasthan in today’s match, they will be tied on the points table. But since Rajasthan has a high Netron rate, the first position will be safe in the hands of Sanju and his team. The Rajasthan Lucknow Super Giants match will be played in Jaipur today at 7.30 pm.
