Al-Marsad newspaper: Dr. Muhammad Al-Abd Al-Aali, spokesman for the Ministry of Health, revealed, during an intervention on the “National Rabea” program on Al-Arabiya channel, the beneficiaries of free “medical insurance” and the status of the unemployed, or beneficiaries of social security services, from free insurance.

Dr. Muhammad Al-Abd Al-Aali said, the issue of having free and insurance for beneficiaries of health services and citizens in particular, is basic and main pillars, and everything that will be implemented will be to sustain these matters.

He continued, Sustaining free treatment with the best standards is one of the basic issues that will be achieved through these decisions and these aspects that have been approved, including the National Health Insurance Center.

He added, the goal of the programs is to reach health insurance that maintains people’s access to free insurance, and with full funding provided by the state for the beneficiary segments covered by government health services.

As for the insurance holders and the unemployed and their status in relation to free health insurance, Dr. Muhammad said, all those who are covered by government health services and beneficiaries in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and all categories in the Kingdom will be covered by all health insurance programs.
