Wind Advisory Issued for Oregon: Stay Informed with Advance Local Weather Alerts

A wind advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Tuesday at 1:07 p.m. valid from Wednesday 10 p.m. until Thursday 10 a.m. for North Central Oregon and Central Oregon.

The weather service describes, “Southwest winds 25 to 35 mph with gusts up to 55 mph expected.”

“Gusty winds could blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result,” adds the weather service. “Use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. Secure outdoor objects.”

Advance Local Weather Alerts is a service provided by United Robots, which uses machine learning to compile the latest data from the National Weather Service.
