Windows 11 22H2 – fixed performance bug in games – LaptopSpirit

Microsoft finally offers a patch to fix the performance drop bug in games induced by Windows 11 22H2.

The players having applied the last major update Windows 11 22H2 many had the unpleasant surprise of seeing drop the performance of their PC in games.

Following the lifts, Microsoft had stopped the deployment of this version of Windows on the configurations concerned.

Reported since September, this bug is finally fixed by Microsoft which offers its patch KB5020044.

Available via Windows Update, it also brings improvements related to Spotlight and OneDrive.

For users affected by this drop in performance in games whose PC is equipped with a nvidia graphics cardit is strongly recommended to be equipped with the latest drivers.
