Microsoft has updated its media creation tool to integrate Windows 11 22H2. As its name suggests, the objective of this utility is to create a bootable USB key or DVD to reinstall or perform a clean installation of Windows 11 on a new or already used PC.
To take advantage of it, you must have a Windows 11 installation license and a device eligible for the alias 22H2 feature update or 2022 Update. Microsoft requires an Internet connection for downloading files, sufficient storage space on the computer, USB key or external drive where you download the .iso file. In this regard, a blank DVD of at least 8 GB (and a DVD burner) is required to create a bootable disc. It is recommended to use a blank USB flash drive or DVD disc, as all content will be deleted during installation.
