One of the musical groups of which Eduin Caz has declared himself a fan, was disturbed this weekend with a series of threats in which the band’s vocalist was warned that if he appeared at his concert scheduled for this Saturday at eight o’clock at night, he would end up being assassinated by a major Mexican drug cartel.
It all started on the afternoon of February 10, the date on which the “Risk Group”himself who is originally from Sinaloa, gave a autograph signing in Tijuanawhere everything was carried out calmly, until in the middle of the event a series of detonations were heard that ended up causing the group to leave the site ahead of schedule.
However, according to local authorities there were no injuries in the event that took place in Plaza Paseo 2000, where hundreds of fans gathered to obtain a signature from the members of Risk Group, whose vocalist is Arturo González, better known as war pantherwho was later directly threatened through various narcomantas which were placed at various points of Tijuana.
According to the images shared on social networks, the narcomantawas allegedly a threat issued by the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG), in which it was established that it was better for the group not to perform this weekend in Tijuana, unless they wanted their vocalist to lose his life.
“Arturo González, Panther Bélico, from the Risky group, here it is not for you to be warlike or with your corridos. Here it has an owner, we are not ordinary, that’s why we didn’t kill you, it was a warning. Here you are not on your land or with your people, your hours are counted down to leave Tijuana, so go and grab your gun and your radio so that you can sing corridos where you can because here you are going to fuck your mother,” says the narcomanta.
In this sense, it should be noted that according to said message, it was the CJNG the person responsible for the moments of panic that were experienced yesterday during the autograph signing ofl “Risk Group”a group that apparently upset the cartel because of the lyrics of their songs, which refer to other criminal groups at odds with the Jalisco New Generation Cartelsuch as the Sinaloa Cartel.
Despite the threats, “Risk Group” honored his name by clarifying that they would not cancel their function scheduled for this Saturday, which according to Arturo González would take place as planned before the mishaps registered between yesterday and today, however, this Saturday the Municipal Government Secretariat of Tijuana stated that the event would be suspended.
