Los Angeles – (AFP) – British singer Adele announced Thursday, with tears choked, the postponement of a series of concerts in Las Vegas due to several delays related to the infection of many members of her team with “Covid” on the eve of the performances.
And in November, shortly after the release of her fourth studio album, “30,” the star revealed that she will be giving concerts every weekend for twelve weeks in Las Vegas starting January 21.
“We did everything in our power to have everything ready in the required time (…) but we faced problems due to delays in delivery and covid,” Adele said in a video posted on her account on Instagram.
The singer added, “Half of my team has Covid and it was impossible to complete the preparations for the show. I am very sad,” she said again, with apologies to “everyone who went through the trouble of commuting” to Las Vegas to attend the ceremony, which was originally scheduled in the “Colosseum” hall at the “Caesars Palace” hotel.
The 33-year-old singer promised to “reprogram all the parties”, saying, “We take care of that.”
