In order for the film to see the light, the censors stipulated that the film end with the correction revolution carried out by the late President Anwar Sadat, which eliminated what was known as the centers of power, which the film strongly attacked.
The late Cinderella admitted that the film had two endings, one that director Ali Badrakhan and producer Mamdouh El-Leithi wanted, and the second insisted that the censors put it down, otherwise it would prevent him from showing
Therefore, I hope with all my heart that the last part will be deleted and the end will remain as it was directed by Badrakhan, and the film presented very boldly the scene of the rape of Souad Hosni, a medical student in the film by one of the intelligence chief’s men, which shocked the audience at the boldness and brutality of the scene.
The film included that with the escalation of events, “Zainab” Suad Hosni finds herself in Khaled Safwan’s room, “Kamal El-Shennawy”, head of the agency, to investigate her affiliation and Ismael’s fiancé.
Nour al-Sharif belongs to one of the communist organizations, and when she refuses to confess, he tears her clothes and she spits in his face. He slaps her with a pen and summons Faraj to perform the rape scene. All this horror that we saw on the screen had strong backstage.
Kamal El-Shennawy, who participated in the work, narrated about the scenes of the film, saying: “The scene was filmed after many rehearsals and good preparation, and of course we all had awe and a sense of responsibility.
And realizing that replaying a scene like this would be difficult for Souad, and I think that we all collapsed after the scene, and Souad collapsed and I took her in my lap, and she was collapsed from crying and her whole body was shaking,
Whoever experiences a state of oppression, and remember that I preferred to feel anger and disgust all day, and maybe on the second day too.
It is the same story that the director of the work, Ali Badrakhan, told, where he said that he returned to the scene more than once, and Souad endured hardship and misery, even though her features revealed severe pain and real oppression.
And the scene returned until I cried at the time, I said “Stop”, causing Souad to fall into a complete breakdown, noting that he did not tell Souad the time of filming the scene until immediately before him.
