The team announced the closure of the Bethesda Launcher in May. All game libraries will be moved to Stean in April.

Bethesda Softworks has confirmed that Bethesda Launcher, its launcher program. Will prepare to close within May of this year.

But gamers don’t have to worry about the game library. And all progress saved in the launcher will be lost, because Bethesda revealed that in early April, Bethesda Launcher users will be able to migrate their game libraries. All game progress, including funds, can be transferred to the Steam platform.

Of course, save games can also be migrated to the Steam platform, but in some games, players will have to manually transfer them (Manuel), and some games, such as Fallout 76, will have to log in with a Bethesda.net account.

Logging in with your Bethesda.net account will still be able to access a wide variety of skins, mods, and more, while the entire friend list on your Bethesda.net account is preserved.

Finally, Bethesda emphasizes that the data in the Bethesda Launcher cannot be migrated to the PlayStation, Xbox, or even any other launcher platform on the PC, or means that the data can only transfer game libraries to the Steam platform.

Bethesda Launcher
