Wolverhampton Wanderers gave themselves a present in the Premier League game on Christmas Eve. Thanks to goals from Mario Lemina (51st minute) and Matt Doherty (93rd), the “Wolves” won 2-1 at home against Chelsea on Sunday without ÖFB legionnaire Sasa Kalajdzic. The Viennese had to watch from the substitutes’ bench as Wolverhampton improved one position in the table thanks to the win and is now eleventh. The “Blues” stagnate in tenth place.
