Sopore: A woman bombed a CRPF camp in Sopore town in Baramulla district of Jammu and Kashmir. The bomber struck shortly after noon in front of a police station, the ANI news agency reported. The CCTV footage of this came out.
The incident took place last night. The woman, who was standing in the middle of the road, took the bomb from her bag and threw it at the CRPF camp. They fled the scene after the bomb was dropped. The bomber struck as vehicles and people were moving on the road.
Police said the bomb had fallen outside the CRPF camp and there were no casualties or any damage. Security has been beefed up in the area since the incident. Kashmir IG Vijay Kumar said a search was on for the woman and hoped she would be arrested soon.
