Woman died when her vehicle collided with a truck on the Vespucio Sur Highway

A deceased woman left a violent collision between a private vehicle and a truck carrying garbage recorded this Wednesday morning on the Vespucio Sur highway.

According to the first information, the event, which occurred in the direction of the east of this highway, at the height of Gran Avenida, occurred when -for reasons that are being investigated- the smaller car collided with the rear of the truck and then with one of the freeway walls.

The violence of the accident left a woman deceased and the vehicle completely destroyed in its front part.

“Unfortunately, within this accident minor vehicle occupant found deceased. The SIAT is making all the necessary efforts to investigate and detect what were the cause or the circumstances that caused this accident,” they reported from the uniformed police.

They also detailed that “there are hypotheses that are given by the statements of citizens who saw this incident, among them one says that the vehicle is on the third lane of traffic, collides with cargo vehicle and as a result of the projection of that collision, of the energy, of the speed, this accident is caused and the smaller vehicle passes from the third to the first traffic lane”.

Due to this fact, there is a great congestion in this sector of the highway due to the work of Police and emergency teams, in addition, a total cut is expected in this part of the route, so the call was made to take alternatives.
