Woman jailed for passing 150 driver’s licenses for others

A 29-year-old woman, Inderjeet Kaur, from Llanell (a coastal town in Wales) has been sentenced to 8 months in prison for having passed her driving license 150 times, reports the BBC. She admitted to having carried out these theoretical and practical tests between 2018 and 2020. She managed to fool different centers such as those in Swansea, Carmarthen, Birmingham and London. According to the police, “his clients” were people with difficulties with the English language.

These fraudulent permits should be revoked. “Driving tests and theory tests exist to help ensure people have the knowledge, skills and attitude to drive on our roads. Circumventing these tests puts lives at risk”comments Caroline Hick, of the federal agency of the standards of the drivers, with the british media.
