Working hours of UAE schools announced

Abu Dhabi: UAE announces working hours for private schools during Ramadan According to the instruction, the daily study time should not exceed five hours. Dubai Knowledge and Human Development Authority has issued a notification in this regard.

Working hours are Monday to Thursday from 7.45 am to 12.45 pm. The authority also informed that Friday will be regular school hours. The school authorities have informed that they will consult with the parents regarding the change in school timings. It is estimated that the fast will begin by the end of March.

Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia has decided to issue permits to pilgrims to perform Umrah during the month of Ramadan. Permits will be available for Swadeshi, non-resident and foreign pilgrims through the ministry’s Nusuk app. Permits will also be available for domestic pilgrims through the Tawakalna app. The Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah informed regarding this.
