Creators Elden Ring a few days before the release, they presented an overview trailer for a hardcore role-playing action game, in which they briefly talked about the features of the game and its gloomy world.
Moreover, considerable attention was paid to the latter: once the Interearth was ruled by brave heroes, but these times have long passed – the power of the broken Elden Ring corrupted them, and the Great Will renounced them.
Now, grace leads the Extinguished, deprived of golden mercy and expelled from the Inter-earth. The living dead, who lost grace long ago, travel to the Inter-earth through the misty sea and stand before the Ring of Elden.
Players are waiting for a large-scale journey through the Interearth full of dangers and secrets – and battles with former heroes who have become monsters. But in addition to the bosses, the developers have prepared a lot of enemies who can hide, including in the catacombs, mines and caves. Like great treasures!
But not only the underground, but also the terrestrial world is to be explored, with which a map, a system of checkpoints with fast movement, or, for example, a horse named Torrent (“Stream”) will help. And, ironically, this very Torrent will be very useful for players traveling around the world.
In addition, the developers remind that Elden Ring will have many different characters with their own goals. If you help them, you can learn their history.
Players, meanwhile, will have more freedom to customize their characters: their appearance, armor, weapons, and abilities. On the road, crafting items from materials that we find on our way will help us. And in battle, it will be possible to summon spirits that will provide important support, whether you prefer open combat, stealth or “tactical retreat”.
