Israeli archaeologists have discovered the world’s oldest gate in Jerusalem. A 5500-year-old gate made of earth and rock was found. This is the entrance to the ancient city of Tell Irani, according to the Israel Antiquities Authority. The discovery was made when a hole was dug in the Kiryat Ghat area to install a water supply pipe. Read on deshabhimani.com
