If you started World of Warcraft recently this problem should probably tell you something, and maybe even woke up some trauma formerly buried. Indeed if you have not yet mounted a character on World of Warcraft your first progression will necessarily require you to go through this step, and until the next patch, by this disappointment.
An abusive step for new players?
When you have not yet leveled up a character until level 60 in World of Warcraft you will necessarily have to go through leveling in Battle for Azeroth and therefore make a stopover at Cool Tiras et Zandalar. Once level 30 and full of good will you decide to go buy, for 300 PO that represent maybe all your fortune at that point in the game, your skill to fly in those areas.
Small problem, once back in Zandalar, impossible to take off of sol, and there is a “good” reason. Indeed, to fly in these areas you need, in addition to the purchased flight skill, to have completed a extremely painful success.
Very many beginners therefore found themselves penniless, and above all nailed to the ground. However, 5 years after its implementation, Blizzard is coming back to this error.
A fix in the next patch?
Good news for new World of Warcraft players, this story is almost over since Blizzard announced to come back to this problem with the patch 10.0.7. With this patch, there will no longer be any question of having to farm for a long time to hope to be able to use your flight skill and you will be able to finish the quests in these areas much faster. A quality of life change you might not have expected from Blizzard but which will undoubtedly please the players who had to deal with this somewhat disappointing emptying of their wallets.
Are we heading for more quality of life like this in future patches for World of Warcraft? Fans would probably be pleasantly surprised.
