NACON and KT Racing announce their new title WRC Generations at, the official game of FIA World Rally Championship, which will be available in stores in autumn 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and on Steam for PC. It is the result of a seven-year collaboration with well-known professionals who have previously worked at WRC 10 and WRC 9 and the latest installment in the authentic rally racing simulation series that gives fans the chance to drive powerful vehicles on famous tracks.
A high degree of realism
Rarely has a game come so close to the real World Rally Championship. This year’s WRC-Simulation has been praised by professionals and has numerous improvements and optimizations requested by the community.
Just like in the real one WRC is also available in WRC Generations an important new competitive feature: hybrid cars. The mixture of electric and combustion engines enables a new driving experience both in terms of physics and through a revised sound design. The vehicles from the predecessors can still be found in the game, but are presented in an even more authentic way. In total there are more than 37 legendary cars carefully recreated with their respective mechanical characteristics.
In addition to the 13 rallies of the 2022 season, the game contains nine other locations for a total of 22 different countries and 165 special stages – including the new Swedish track. It is the only all-snow rally with physics that are even closer to actual conditions.
New single and online content
WRC Generations is even more polished and detailed than its predecessors and promises countless hours of fun thanks to new game modes and new ways to share your passion online.
- Im Career mode fans can create their own story, manage every aspect of their team and lead it to success. A new way to manage hybrid cars will be added to the skill tree.
- Im ligamodus fans can compete against each other in the same category in daily and weekly challenges and try to climb to the top of the leaderboard.
- With the Teamsystem can join a team or create one of your own, keeping the standard high in every challenge.
- Of the Livery-Editor allows to customize cars with variety of liveries and decals. In WRC Generations your own creations can be shared with others.
- Fans can participate in practice races on split screen or online and in passenger mode enjoy the experience together.
WRC Generations will be available in stores on October 13, 2022 for PlayStation4, PlayStation5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and later for PC and Nintendo Switch.
