Wreckreation: the open world racing game in the vein of Wreckfest announced | Xbox One

The THQ Nordic Digital Showcase was the opportunity for the publisher to present a title that will certainly appeal to fans of Wreckfest. Indeed, Three Fields Entertainment has lifted the veil on Wreakreation and its completely crazy open world.

A completely crazy open world racing game

Making a racing game in a world of 400 square kilometers with the aim of creating circuits conducive to wrecking your vehicles, this is the bet taken by former developers of Burnout and Need for Speed.

The title aims to be the ultimate open world sandbox experience for racing fans. That’s why you can find empty areas just waiting for your imagination to place ramps, loops and all kinds of elements to create the races of your dreams on the road, in the fields or in the air. Of course, the creation of events and the modification of the rules will be part of it!

This should be very simple since it will be possible to navigate in free camera in the MixWorld. Speaking of freedom, the customization of vehicles will certainly be there, allowing you to modify the colors, the wheels, the flames of the boosts, the sounds or the windows, all available from the start.

On the soundtrack side, Wreckreation will have 16 radio channels in addition to one dedicated to Spotify, allowing you to listen to your playlist.

The title can be played in single player or in PVP in split screen or online and will be available on both Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC. No release date has yet been mentioned. If you’re lucky enough to make it to Gamescom, you can try out the title at THQ’s booth in Hall 8 #A10.
