WWDC 2022 kicks off with tours of the new Apple Developer Center

WWDC 2022 officially kicks off tomorrow, but developers invited to the event will get a head start as Apple offers tours of the all-new Developer Center, located on the Apple Park campus. Images posted to Twitter provide our first look inside the Developer Center, which features different rooms named following the macOS versions, the Big Sur Theater, and much more.

While WWDC 2022 officially begins tomorrow, developers already in Cupertino can attend a special Open House event at the Developer Center. Developer Paul Hudson has shared a slew of images from within the Developer Center on Twitter And it looks as impressive as you’d expect any building on the Apple Park campus to be.

As you can see in the images Hudson posted, the Developer Center features different rooms that are all named following macOS versions, including Panther, Tiger, Leopard, and El Capitan. Inside these rooms, developers will find a wide range of technology as well as whiteboards, televisions, and more for meetings and sessions.

One of the highlights of the new Developer Center is the Big Sur Theatre, which appears to be a miniature version of the Steve Jobs Theater – but is equally impressive. There is a large theater with a huge screen, plush seating for developers, and more.
