– WWE Friday Night SmackDown kicks off with the commentators welcoming us.
Roman Reigns’ music blares. The champion enters with the Bloodline. Once in the ring, Roman Reigns asks Salt Lake City to recognize him. Paul Heyman takes the microphone, he introduces himself and then talks to us about Roman Reigns who is still champion.
People say it was Drew McIntyre’s moment… nope. Cardiff, Wales or Scotland are not Drew McIntyre’s territory. The whole planet belongs to the Tribal Chief and it’s Roman Reigns. But since Drew McIntyre now has to deal with Karrion Kross, then he’s going to talk about Solo Sikoa. He was sent by the elders of the Samoan Dynasty and he will be there to ensure that Roman Reigns stays on the throne. This will allow Usos to focus on their quest.
Roman Reigns takes the microphone and tells Solo Sikoa to recognize him and the wrestler complies. The Bloodline was about to leave but Sami Zayn takes the mic and says cut the music. He knows he’s not technically family, but he wants to acknowledge Roman Reigns publicly.
Roman Reigns says he likes him but he wants to know why Sami Zayn is talking. He wonders why Sami Zayn is wearing their t-shirt. Reigns wants Zayn to take off his t-shirt. Jey Uso rips off Sami Zayn’s t-shirt.
Roman Reigns gives Sami Zayn a new t-shirt with “SZ Honorary Uce” on it. Sami Zayn is very happy and recognizes Roman Reigns, before giving him a hug. Jey Uso is the only one not happy.
Liv Morgan vs Lacey Evans
At the end of the match, Lacey Evans goes to get a Kendo Stick below the ring and wants to hit Liv Morgan but the champion avoids it then gives her a Codebreaker. Liv Morgan finishes with her ObLIVion on Lacey Evans followed by the final fall.
Winner: Liv Morgan
– After the match, Liv Morgan hits Lacey Evans with the Kendo Stick then pulls out a table below the ring. She sets up the table ringside to place Lacey Evans on it and sends her a Senton from the ring post!
– Backstage, Hit Row throws a party and the clan is joined by the Street Profits. During their discussion, we see a QR Code appear very briefly on the screen just behind the wrestlers.
– Backstage, Ricochet and Madcap Moss join Sami Zayn and tell him he’s changed. Solo Sikoa attacks Madcap Moss and Ricochet from behind.
– A video on the Usos is broadcast.
The New Day (Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) vs MMM (Monday & Monday) acc par Max et Maxxine Dupri
At the end of the match, ma.cé & mån.sôör hold a pose in the ring but Kofi Kingston takes ma.cé out of the ring and then rolls up on mån.sôör for the victory.
Gagnants : The New Day
After the match, Max Dupri is angry and leaves, leaving his clan in the lurch.
