– WWE Monday Night kicks off with a video from earlier today.
– Cody Rhodes arrives at the arena, but Brock Lesnar shows up and starts beating her up! Lesnar throws him against walls and crates yelling that he’s ready to fight any way Cody wants him to. Lesnar pushes Cody against a garage door and hits his arm with a steel barrel to finish the attack!
– Paul Heyman is in the ring and demands everyone’s attention. Heyman says he had nothing to do with that attack. What we saw was a small example of what awaits Cody Rhodes this Saturday when he tries to defeat the beast Brock Lesnar. He understands that people appreciated his special presence on RAW last Monday, so he was invited a second time tonight. This Saturday at Night of Champions we will have three main events, starting with the tag team title match to bring the titles back to the Bloodline.
Heyman says the Usos will watch the game at home to see the crowning of the new champions: Solo Sikoa and Roman Reigns. Heyman now welcomes us to RAW, but Kevin Owens steps into the ring with Sami Zayn. Paul Heyman quickly leaves the ring. Zayn says he’s never seen someone leave so quickly. The truth is that they’re doing just fine tonight, Heyman wouldn’t have received anything nasty. They will have their biggest title defense in six days when they take on Sikoa and Reigns. He is not ashamed to say it, this story is personal, but he has nothing to add because he has already said everything. Owens says last Friday on SmackDown Reigns decided to dedicate his Night of Champions victory to the Wild Samoans. So that gave him an idea, their victory will be dedicated to the pillars of the division, Jimmy and Jey Uso.
Zayn says now they have to take care of their business for tonight as they have to face Imperium. Imperium’s music cuts Zayn and the clan surrounds the ring. Matt Riddle quickly arrives to ally himself with Owens and Zayn. Imperium decides to back down. Imperium finally decides to charge the ring, but they quickly get knocked out.
– Ricochet enters the ring. Back after the break, behind the scenes, Byron Saxton stops Adam Pearce for news on Cody Rhodes. Pearce says Cody is still receiving the doctor’s care. Saxton asks for his comments on the rumor that Cody has a broken arm. Pearce declines to comment.
– In an earlier video, Reed says he’s the one who should face Gunther at Night of Champions, but because of Ricochet he doesn’t have that chance. Ricochet will understand his mistake tonight.
Ricochet vs Bronson Reed
At the end of the match, Ricochet launches into Springboard, but Reed makes him fall to the ground. Reed charges Ricochet into the corner and PowerSlams him. Reed continues with his Tsunami for the count of three.

– Behind the scenes, Cathy is with Apollo Crews to find out how he is doing. Crews says he hopes Cody is okay, but he’s excited to be back. Dominik Mysterio and Rhea Ripley arrive. Dominik says it’s Mommy’s time, why is Cathy wasting her time.
Cathy says it’s Crews time. Crews says he’s everything Dominik isn’t. Dominik says it’s not important, Mommy has to talk. Ripley says Natalya decided to get in her way. So Saturday at Night of Champions she’s going to do an example of Natalya. Crews says it’s his interview, no disrespect.
Dominik says it’s forbidden to interrupt Mommy. Crews asks Dominik what he’s going to do. Ripley says Dominik will show her who runs RAW. Crews says he can’t wait to see him try.
– Back, we find Seth Rollins for the rest of his interview with Corey Graves (who started last week on RAW). Rollins says it’s the perfect time to have a new champion. Graves asks his opinion on the current reign of Roman Reigns. Rollins says he loves Roman Reigns, he will always have love for Reigns, but the person Reigns has become and the champion Reigns has become, he has no respect for that. Reigns takes opportunities for everyone else, he’s selfish. Rollins says he wants to become world champion so we can all forget about Roman Reigns.
Graves asks what RAW will look like with Rollins as the champion. Rollins says this may be the place of opportunity, pushing the industry even further. Because he will be here and he wants to have challenges. Someone has to be able to carry the torch when he’s gone and he wants to see who can. Graves asks his opinion on his opponent AJ Styles. Rollins says AJ is the greatest wrestler of all time, AJ is special. But he and AJ Styles faced each other before in 2006 and he won, he doesn’t see why Night of Champions would be any different. He is at the peak of his career. The interview to continue later..
– We present a video at RAW Talk last Monday of a behind-the-scenes confrontation between Shinsuke Nakamura and Damian Priest.
– Behind the scenes, Byron Saxton stops Priest and Finn Balor to find out more. Priest gets angry again, Balor calms him down. Balor says Saxton should congratulate them on their win against the Tag Team Champions. Saxton congratulates them.
Balor says Nakamura cost a world title shot and as a bonus Nakamura disrespected Priest. When you disrespect one member of Judgment Day, you disrespect all members. So tonight he’s going to beat Nakamura and leave some for Priest so he can pick up the bones.
– Back, we present a video presentation on Zoey Stark which comes from NXT.
Candice LeRae vs Zoey Stark
Late in the match, Nikki Cross distracted LeRae ringside. Stark takes the opportunity to push LeRae against the steel step and bring her back to the ring to do his Z360 for the three count.
