The controversial German singer Xavier Naidoo apparently hit a pedestrian with a sports car on the B 310 in Rainbach in the Mühlviertel (Freistadt district) on Saturday, the APA was confirmed on Tuesday from a reliable source, a report in the “Kronen Zeitung”. Shortly before the Czech border, the 51-year-old is said to have left the road and caught the man who crashed into the windshield. The injured man was taken to the hospital in Freistadt.
The singer said he had to sneeze and therefore lost control of the car. An alcohol test, it was said in other Upper Austrian media, should have been negative. The pedestrian is said to have already left the hospital.
