We are very excited to return to gamescom in Cologne, Germany in August and meet in person with the community for the first time since 2019!
We are so excited to be back on the show floor, meeting our passionate fans in person to celebrate what’s coming up on Xbox. At gamescom 2022, whether you attend the show in person or watch via gamescom live stream from home, fans in Europe and around the world will be able to discover a little more information about some of our previously announced games that they will arrive on Xbox in the next 12 months.
Also, we’re excited to announce the return of Xbox FanFest to the show floor. Here’s more about Xbox FanFest and everything else we’re doing at gamescom 2022:
Stand de Xbox
This year, the Xbox booth will return to Hall 8, featuring 36 stations with a fantastic lineup of content coming to Xbox over the next 12 months, much of which will be available on Game Pass the day it launches.
By attending in person, you’ll be able to try out some of the latest and greatest titles from Xbox Game Studios, including:

Booth visitors will also be able to try out the new Xbox app on the latest 2022 Samsung Smart TV, part of our mission is to give everyone the opportunity to play the games they want, with whomever they want, wherever they want.
In addition to being able to try out the latest games, attendees will have the opportunity to become gaming heroes with amazing photo opportunities as well as:
• Go head-to-head with the first boss of GroundedBroodmother, a huge 5 meter wide spider who is eager to take a selfie with you.
• Explore with Sea of Thieves.
• Fight the Piglins with Minecraft Legends.
• Participate in the battlefield with Age of Empires IV.
• Take a selfie with Starfield’s robot sidekick, VASCO.
We want to see how much fun you have!
Xbox continues with its commitment that video games should be safe, inclusive and accessible to all. This is why we made sure that Xbox Adaptive Controller is available upon request. Also, all areas of the stand will be accessible to wheelchairs. We will have readily identifiable American Sign Language (ASL), British Sign Language (BSL) and German Sign Language (DGS) interpreters, as well as “support staff”, to help players of all levels.
We are also pleased to announce that Xbox is an official “gamescom goes green” partner and that we have made a voluntary climate contribution to ClimatePartner to offset the CO2 consumption of our presence on the show floor. Similarly, we are committed to waste prevention in the design, presence and dismantling of the Xbox stand itself. This is all part of Xbox’s commitment to our players and the industry to work tirelessly to responsibly reduce our environmental impact.

Booth access event outside of business hours
Xbox FanFest will be hosting a special after-hours event at the Xbox booth. This event will take place on Wednesday, August 24 from 8:00pm to 11:00pm CEST (check your local time) and will give select fans the opportunity to gain access to the booth before the show opens to the public. that have public tickets. This way, fans will be able to enjoy fun activities at the booth, including meet and greets with game creators.
