Microsoft submits and has now confirmed the Xbox Games with Gold in September. We tell you here which four games you can look forward to this time.
Also in September, Microsoft has another four-pack of free titles ready for you at Xbox Games with Gold – two games each for Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S as well as two more, which are also available for the Xbox 360. Thanks to backward compatibility, these two titles can also be played on the newer consoles.
Which games are there now? It starts on September 1st and runs through the end of the month Gods Will Fall on Xbox Series X/S and Xbox One. What’s the matter? For millennia, the gods have ruled mankind with an iron fist. Driven by cruelty, they force all men into their servitude and demand nothing less than blind worship. You now control eight Celtic heroes who rebel against this tyranny and build their own tribe. All of your choices tell another piece of your personal story.
Also for the two more recent consoles, there is next Double Kick Heroes, which lands on Games with Gold on September 16th and is available thereafter until October 15th. Here you can be inspired by the power of metal and kick zombies’ butts. The shoot’em up is waiting for you with 30 crazy and fast-paced levels.
Also for the Xbox 360 are however Thrillville from September 1st to 15th as well Portal 2 available from September 16th to 30th. The former lets you build an amusement park, first and foremost the roller coasters. The latter is the sequel to Valve’s cult puzzler that pushes the boundaries of physics. Armed only with a portal gun, you face difficult challenges and must break the laws of spatial physics with unthinkable solutions.
