Xbox reveals custom alligator-themed Xbox Series X-BITE console

The Five-Foot Reptile Housing Fully Operational Xbox Hardware

Microsoft’s gaming division has pulled off an unexpected hardware crossover by encasing a standard, fully operational Xbox Series X inside a hyper-realistic, 1.5-meter-long alligator sculpture. Revealed by Xbox, the custom system dubbed the Xbox Series X-BITE merges functional console hardware with high-end practical effects in the shape of an alligator.

FayerWayer reported that the build spans more than five feet from snout to tail tip, integrating the functional console core directly into the torso of the Florida-inspired reptile. Texturised scales, ridges, and customized glowing green Xbox iris optics anchor the exterior aesthetics.

John Nolan Studio Brings Movie-Grade Practical Effects to Console Architecture

Constructing the outer shell required specialized creature design. Microsoft tapped John Nolan Studio, an animatronics and special effects shop recognized for film and television work on productions including Jurassic World Dominion, The Witcher, and HBO’s upcoming Harry Potter series.

Clamped firmly inside the predator’s jaws sits a matching wireless controller, complete with sculpted bite marks and deep fang indentations.

Marketing Realities Behind the Florida-Inspired Hardware Piece

Because platform marketing rights belong exclusively to Sony, competing hardware divisions must handle themed promotions with subtlety.

No animal parts or living creatures were harmed in the production of the sculpture, according to official statements. The device remains a one-off collector’s item rather than a mass-market SKU.

How Collectors Can Enter the Official Global Sweepstakes

Because the unit will not see a commercial retail release, accessibility remains strictly limited to a single prize package. The official sweepstakes opened on November 3, 2026, and was scheduled to accept entries through November 10, 2026, at 11:59 PM PT via official social media channels, leaving the sole physical specimen up for grabs for one verified participant residing legally in the United States.
