Xbox SSD: Seagate drops its prices sharply in the United States! | XboxOne

With the weight of new games always increasing, many players want to opt for a storage extension. However, since the release of the Xbox Series X|S in 2020, only the inexpensive Seagate cards have been made available in the market. However, it seems that things are about to change, between the upcoming arrival of an alternative solution and the drop in Seagate extensions, more players will be able to extend their storage.

Big Price Drops on Seagate Storage Expansions

Clearly, there is reason to be jealous when we see that PlayStation 5 owners can boost their storage space for much less than Xbox Series X|S players. But we may soon be able to afford Seagate cards at a more reasonable price.

Indeed, Americans can now enjoy lower prices on the 3 existing models, namely the 512 GB, the 1 TB and the 2 TB.

  • 512 GB: reduced from $139.99 to $89.99.
  • 1 TB: reduced from $219.99 to $149.99.
  • 2 TB: reduced from $399.99 to $279.99.

For the moment, there is no indication that other countries, including France, will be entitled to price reductions. However, it’s a safe bet that this change is linked to the arrival of alternatives such as Western Digital’s, whose 1TB card ($179.99) will be more expensive than Seagate’s with the new price.

We will of course keep you informed if this price change applies to other countries.
