In week seven of the XFL, the Orlando Guardians finally get their first win. Ironically, the so far undefeated DC Defenders have to believe it. But the Florida team can only celebrate after a real thriller.

The Orlando Guardians celebrate in the seventh week The XFL recorded a 37-36 home win over the DC Defenders for their first win of the season. Curious: While the team from Florida was able to celebrate their premiere victory, the Defenders left the field as losers for the first time.
However, before the Guardians could start the victory celebrations, the men in green had to work up a sweat.
With just four seconds left on the game clock, the guests lined up for a field goal attempt. Matthew McCrane ran for the decisive kick from 63 yards, but couldn’t sink the ball between the posts. It was a narrow victory for the Guardians.
Offensive spectacle and highlight catch
The end was the fitting conclusion for an exciting game in which both teams knew how to convince on offense. A minimum of 14 points were accumulated on the scoreboard in each quarter, with each team scoring at least six points.
Jordan Thomas provided the highlight. The Guardians tight end gave his team a 24-22 lead with a spectacular catch in the third quarter.
