Xiaomi 13 Lite appears on Geekbench listing ahead of global launch; Leaked specs

The Xiaomi 13 series will be launched in Barcelona on February 26, one day before the start of the Mobile World Congress 2023. The company will unveil three models in this series – Xiaomi 13, Xiaomi 13 Pro, and Xiaomi 13 Lite. While Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro have already been launched in China, the global series will have another addition, such as Xiaomi 13 Lite. Details about the three devices have been making rounds online. Now, the Xiaomi 13 Lite has appeared on the Geekbench listing, indicating the processor and its performance.

According to a report by Gizmochina, the upcoming Xiaomi 13 Lite has been spotted on certification site Geekbench with model number 2210129SG. The listing states that the phone will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 SoC coupled with 8GB of RAM. The phone is hinted to come preinstalled with Android 12, paired with the MIUI 13 skin. Additionally, the listing reveals that the phone scored 793 in single-core tests and 2938 in multi-core tests.

While the Geekbench listing only has this much information, the phone was recently spotted on German online retailer CyberPort for a brief period. The listing reportedly revealed its detailed specifications and pricing. Xiaomi 13 Lite is supposed to be available in two colors – Black and Pink.

The other two models – Xiaomi 13 and 13 Pro – have already been launched in the Chinese market in December 2022. The global variants of the phone are expected to carry the same features as the Chinese variants. The vanilla model in the series runs on MIUI 14 and has a 6.73-inch 2K OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC coupled with up to 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM.

The phones also appeared on a European retail site, indicating that the Xiaomi 13 will be priced at €999.90 (roughly Rs. 88,300) for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant, while the Xiaomi 13 Pro will cost €1,299.90 (roughly Rs. 1, 14,700). Both the smartphones are said to be available in black and white color options.
