CountryXiaomi has announced the launch of the long-awaited release of the Redmi Note 12 series in the GCC countries.
The launch event was held at the W Hotel in Dubai, with 502 participants from across the GCC including: content creators, technology editors, media and authorized dealers attending to witness the unveiling of the new smartphones.
This popular series includes five devices: Redmi Note 12 Pro + 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 12 Pro 4G, Redmi Note 12S and Redmi Note 12, with prices starting at AED 699.
And the general manager of Xiaomi in the Middle East, Ronnie Wang, announced that Xiaomi ranked second in the mobile phone market in the Middle East for the year 2022.
Xiaomi has also made notable progress by climbing 72 places in the Fortune Global 500 rankings in 2022 and is currently ranked 266.
The company has moved up more than 200 places in four years, making it the fastest growing Chinese technology company.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G is the flagship of the Redmi Note 12 series, and it features an efficient triple camera system, as the device is equipped with a 200MP main camera with OIS optical image stabilization, an ultra-wide camera, and a macro camera.
Xiaomi said that the most powerful device in this series aims to set a new standard for photography in the middle-class smartphone sector.
According to Xiaomi, the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G and Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G will provide an experience that impresses users with its remarkably bright and colorful Flow AMOLED screens with a frequency rate of 120Hz.
The two phones will be equipped with Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos technology. In addition, flexible P-OLED materials enable slimmer bezels.
The two smartphones have fast charging speeds, as the Redmi Note 12 Pro+ 5G has a charging speed of 120W thanks to HyperCharge technology.
Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G has a fast charging speed of 67W, and a long-lasting 5,000mAh battery that provides extended daily use even with heavy content consumption.
The high-performance MediaTek Dimensity 1080 chipset ensures smooth and reliable 5G network performance.
The Redmi Note 12 Pro 5G will be available through official Xiaomi channels from April 7 at a price of 1,149 AED, while the Redmi Note 12 will be available at a starting price of 699 AED.
Xiaomi announced the new Redmi Watch 3 smart watch, which features a bright and clear screen, various sports and health functions, and accurate connection to the multi-system GPS global positioning system.
Redmi Watch 3 is equipped with a 1.75-inch super clear AMOLED display, which is designed to ensure readability in bright sunlight.
The bezel of this watch is crafted with a shiny metallic finish using NCVM vacuum non-conductive mining technology, providing a premium look and feel, according to Xiaomi.
The watch is available in two traditional colors: black and ivory. Two special edition straps and over 200 built-in watch faces are available to match each user’s unique taste and behavior.
It is noteworthy that the watch is equipped with a built-in GPS global positioning system and is water resistant according to the 5ATM standard.
The watch supports five major satellite positioning systems and 121 sports modes, including: six sports modes that the watch automatically recognizes, in addition to measuring blood oxygen, heart rate, sleep, and monitoring other health functions.
With a reliable battery life of up to 12 days of normal use, Xiaomi said that the Redmi Watch 3 ensures a stable and efficient performance.
