Yacouba Barro takes the reins of the Banfora prefecture
Banfora, August 23, 2022 (AIB)-The new prefect of the department of Banfora and president of the municipal special delegation (PDS), Yacouba Barro installed last Tuesday by Emile Valea, Secretary General of the province of Comoé, undertakes to take the reins of the prefecture.
Mr. Barro greeted and thanked the administrative authorities and expressed his recognition, his gratitude to the highest authorities of Burkina Faso for the trust placed in him.
He also invited them to accompany him to meet the challenges he faces.
The new Prefect also invited each son and daughter of the city of the black peasant to invest fully in order to contribute to the building of social cohesion in this department.
Yacouba Barro, civil administrator, previously an agent at the Banfora High Commission, replaces Assita PALM who spent 4 years 6 months and 25 days at the head of this department.
Mrs. PALM thanked her collaborators, the partners and for the constant support she received during all the time spent at the prefecture.
The Secretary General of the province, Emile Valea, recalled the powers of the prefect and urged the new prefect to work with all his collaborators to succeed in his mission.
