The Syrian artist, Yara Sabry, celebrated the wedding of her son, the young singer Karam Salibi, to the young woman, Layal Abu Zain Al-Din, in a simple ceremony that was limited to the families of the newlyweds and some friends.

The wedding took place in Montreal / Canada, where Sabri and her family reside, but the father of the groom, artist Maher Salibi, missed him because of his commitment to filming the series “One Thousand and One Nights” in Turkey.

Sabry published a set of photos from the wedding ceremony and commented on them, saying: “Our sweet family grew up, and I became the mother of the groom, and I had a new girl. We lacked the presence of the father of the groom who celebrated with us, due to the work conditions. May God bless the newlyweds and give them good days.”

Actress Yara Sabry participated in the Canadian-Syrian film “peace by chocolate”, which was recently shown in the United Arab Emirates in the Canadian pavilion at “Expo 2020 Dubai”.

The film includes a group of Canadian and Syrian artists, showing the life of a Syrian refugee family in Canada and their attempts to coexist in their new society. The film stars the late Hatem Ali, Ayham Abu Ammar, and Naglaa Khamri.

It is noteworthy that the last series that Sabri participated in were: Orchidia in 2017, Samarkand in 2016, and Faces and Places in 2015.
