Yaroslav Sumishevsky erected a monument on his wife’s grave

Truly people’s artist Yaroslav Sumishevsky is now at the peak of his fame. His concert schedule is scheduled right up to his 40th birthday, which the singer will celebrate next fall. Hard work heals: after all, last year his beloved woman Natalya, the mother of his five-year-old son, died in a terrible accident. Here are some more important facts about Yaroslav.

Sumishevsky began his career on backing vocals with the hairdresser Sergei Zverev, who suddenly began to sing. For each appearance on stage, the stylist unfastened him $ 100.

– I come from the city of Shakhtersk on Sakhalin, – Yaroslav recalled. – He graduated from school at 16, studied in Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk at the music school as a choir conductor. At the age of 20, he left for Moscow and entered the University of Culture in Khimki as a vocalist.

Working with the outrageous Zverev during his studies left indelible memories:

– Then I learned the word “makeup” and learned how to line my eyes. First time trying on a Dolce & Gabbana suit. I had to fit into boots on a huge platform – exactly the same as Sergei’s. He also advised me to grow and dye my hair. And then I became blond with long strands. But this did not last long. I realized – not mine – and left.

Yarik did not work for a “star in shock” for long. Sergei convinced him to dye his hair blonde

All these metamorphoses took place in front of Sumishevsky’s first wife, Svetlana. Their student marriage began on Sakhalin, they were both 18 years old. And when the daughter Ksyusha was born, they went to Moscow.

– We lived in Strogino in a one-room apartment with my wife’s grandmother. My mistake was that we immediately went to Moscow with the whole family. I thought like this: “I have ten cans of caviar with me – I’ll sort out the situation.” As if no one had seen the caviar here. For about a year it was very difficult …

Once Sumishevsky fell in love with another. Natalya Borodkina, like Yaroslav, had a daughter.

The singer’s first wife Svetlana and their daughter Ksyusha have been living in the Moscow region for a long time.

– We met at an event dedicated to Valentine’s Day, which Natasha organized. She somehow found out about me and invited me to speak, ”Yaroslav shared. – The divorce from Svetlana was difficult. I didn’t know what to do with myself, but then I realized: there is only one life. I fell out of love with Sveta, fell in love with Natasha. I wrote Sveta a message, packed my things and left.

Natalya inspired the singer so much that the real flowering of his work finally began. They created the “National Makhor” project on the Internet – they posted not only the records of Yaroslav, but also other nuggets performing in restaurants. The popularity of Sumishevsky began to grow by leaps and bounds.

Yaroslav bought a country house for his family. They had a son, Miroslav, with Natasha. There was enough space in the spacious estate for Alexander, Borodkina’s brother, who became Sumishevsky’s concert administrator. Yaroslav did not forget about his first family either. For his wife and daughter, who moved from Sakhalin, I bought an apartment in Khimki near Moscow.

Alas, the happy idyll collapsed in one day. At the beginning of 2021, in the Krasnoyarsk Territory, the singer and Natalya got into a terrible accident on the way to the concert. The SUV, driven by the chairman of the Union of Paratroopers of the Krasnoyarsk Territory Alexander Gulyakov, crashed into a truck through his fault. Gulyakov died, Yaroslav survived and almost did not suffer, and his beloved was hospitalized with severe injuries. And, without leaving a coma, she died in intensive care. Borodkin was buried at the Khimki cemetery. Recently, a monument appeared on the grave.

While Yaroslav is on tour, his mother-in-law sits with his son. The singer’s mother (formerly a seamstress) died of cancer in 2009. Near Sumishevsky lives his father, who once worked as a miner. After an industrial injury in the face, he was left without a leg when his wife was lying with baby Yaroslav in the hospital.

– It was my father who influenced me and my brother that we became musicians, – Sumishevsky says. – He performed at local concerts and holidays, then became a soloist of the Sakhalin Philharmonic. I began to imagine myself as an artist: I picked up a badminton racket, turned on the Beatles and saw myself on the big stage. And now, it turns out, it came true!
