Yas Film Festival in the Garden returns to Abu Dhabi

Bragg, the Emirati company specializing in creative experiences, in cooperation with Yas Island, the leading entertainment center in Abu Dhabi, revealed that the Yas Film Festival will be held in the park, at the Yas Links Abu Dhabi Golf Course on 5 and 6 November.
The free community event allows spending the most beautiful times thanks to a set of interactive activities that take guests on a journey to relive the memories of the past in a unique atmosphere.
The event, which is for the whole family, includes a collection of the most famous films, games and fashion of the eighties, where guests will be in an unforgettable atmosphere.
The festival takes place on the first weekend of November, when the weather is perfect to start the outdoor event, which continues to show the most successful classic films throughout the weekend, with an average of three films per day. It also offers a wide range of popular video game favourites, classic video games, light-up pool tables, pinball machines, air hockey tables, as well as a selection of 80’s dolls, which celebrate the sweetest childhood memories and ensure an entertaining time for all.
The festival offers the most appropriate options for appearing in the various looks of the eighties, as it includes a booth dedicated to wearing the clothes of that period and obtaining a distinctive view, on the impact of the distinctive music of the eighties, which can be heard throughout the festival.
The décor also reflects the ambiance of that time period with bright lights illuminating the place, focusing on the aesthetic of neon colors inspired by Miami in the eighties. The place also includes many corners for drinks, which guests go to after playing video games or before heading to the giant cinema screens. Early in the day, several family films will be shown, while the rest of the day will be shown films for older age groups.
