Yash Dayal, who was the star of Gujarat Titans last season, was not retained by the team this time. The star’s salary was Rs 3.20 crore last season. This time, RCB acquired the star for more than that amount.

Yash Dayal’s name became more familiar among fans after Rinku Singh hit five sixes in an over last season when he needed 29 runs in an over to win.

But this season the player will get Rs 55 lakh as IPL salary. This is after the Kolkata Knight Riders retained the player. Fans also say that if the star had been left in the auction, he would have got at least more than 10 crores.
