After embodying the character of President Sisi, which he presented in the third part of the series “The Choice”, in the last Ramadan drama season, the star Yasser Jalal decided to move away from social drama in the next season, and resort to heritage, as he contracted to star in a new series entitled: “A Thousand and One Nights.” Written by scriptwriter Anwar Abdel Moghith, directed by Hossam Ali.
Yasser will embody in the series the role of “Shahriar”, who decides to kill every girl he marries the morning after the wedding, because of treason, until he meets the girl “Scheherazade”, who uses the trick with him to escape death, so she begins telling many interesting stories and stories, and is keen to That the story remains for him to tell him the next day, which makes him postpone the order to kill her, so that the tales and stories continue, and Scheherazade remains alive.
Jalal is supposed to start preparing for work during the coming period, while director Hossam Ali will continue to nominate the remaining heroes of the work, and the star who will play the role of “Scheherazade”, in order to announce the start of filming, after officially contracting with them.
It is noteworthy that a number of stars preceded Yasser Jalal in presenting the character “Shahriar” in works of the same name, as the late Abdel Rahim Al-Zarqani presented him to the radio in the most famous series “Alf Leila Wa Leila” in the era of the fifties of the last century, and played the role of the late “Shahrazad” Zuzu Nabil Also, the star Hussein Fahmy in a television series entitled “A Thousand and One Nights” and played the role of “Scheherazade”, the artist Najla Fathi, and in 1992, the late star Samir Ghanem presented him in a series of the same title, and the star Laila Elwi played the role of “Scheherazade”.
On the other hand, Yasser Jalal is preparing in the coming days to start filming the series “Al Deeb”, written by Omar Abdel Halim, directed by Ahmed Nader Jalal, and its events revolve in 8 episodes of science fiction, in an action thriller framework, about a “werewolf” man who turns into a wolf. In special circumstances, what causes him many problems, and it is scheduled to be shown on one of the platforms in the coming period.
