Al-Marsad Newspaper: The Court of Appeal, headed by Counselor Fahd Abu Salib, upheld the life imprisonment sentence imposed on the imam of a “Yemeni” mosque, in the case of indecent assault of an Egyptian child.
The facts of the case go back to the arrest of the accused, who works as an imam of a mosque in Jahra, when he tried to escape through the Salmi port, “following committing a crime of indecent assault on a child whose parents submitted a complaint to the security men.” After his arrest, he was referred to the competent authorities. According to the Kuwaiti newspaper Al-Majlis and Al-Qabas.
