“You are not welcome” .. a campaign to prevent Mohamed Ramadan’s concert in Alexandria

Activists launched an intensive campaign on social media in Egypt to prevent the artist from holding a concert Mohamed Ramadan In the city of Alexandria in the north of the country.

And the invitations spread under the title “You are not welcome,” hours after Ramadan announced on his official Facebook page that he would hold a big concert in Alexandria on October 7, entitled “The Strongest Party in Egypt.”

While a number of pages and accounts called for the Ramadan party to be banned, they put an “X” on the poster for the party, stressing that Alexandria is the city of art, and the country of Sayed Darwish, and it cannot accept a party for an artist like Ramadan.

Attack on great artists

It is reported that Muhammad Ramadan was criticized for his attack on great artists such as Farid Shawqi And Ismail Yassin and Samira Abdel Aziz.

While the family of the late artist Farid Shawqi responded to Ramadan after statements in which he compared his career with Shawky’s, as well as his criticism of the latter in the movie “Hamido”.

Ramadan was also criticized after speaking on a program about Ismail Yassin’s films. He also criticized statements by Samira Abdel Aziz in which she denied her consent to play his mother’s role in one of the artworks.
