“You can go out”: big clash between candidate Jean Lassalle and a journalist on a TV set

The French presidential candidate, Jean Lassalle, was present on BFM TV opposite journalist Apolline de Malherbe this Friday to deliver his opinion on various political points.

The tense atmosphere was palpable from the start of the program, but it reached its climax when the candidate of the Résistons party was cut off by his vis-à-vis: “You can’t understand if you interrupt me every second You may be Apolline de Malherbe…”, he says. “I’m not like you. I’m not a TV professional,” he continues.

Then follows a spade from Jean Lassalle who accuses the media of having broadcast the remarks made by Emmanuel Macron about the paranoia of Vladimir Poutine: “You have contributed to the disorder in which our country finds itself.”

For Apolline de Malherbe, this remark is one too many: “No problem, do not hesitate, you can go out if you feel that you are not in your place”, she offers him.

“Especially not. I want to take advantage of these few seconds that I have been waiting for 7 or 8 years”, retorts Jean Lassalle.

The clash takes place from 13:08
