You can now give feedback after a hospital visit

Since Tuesday, users of the CIUSSS du Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean and three other health establishments in the province can officially give their opinion on the care received in certain sectors of activity.

A general practitioner from Lac-Saint-Jean, however, doubts the relevance of this new tool.

The Dre Mélodie Bouchard fears that this 12-month pilot project will serve the political class better.

“The Legault government has never hid from wanting to introduce more privacy into the network, so I have the impression that this is a way for him to obtain more proof of the frustration of the population to better justify the establishment of the private sector”, she affirmed.

At this time, only patients in the Mental Health and Obstetrics departments will receive a QR code to access the survey available online.

The primary objective of this project announced last week by the Minister of Health is to improve the patient experience and health care practices.

About sixty patients from Saguenay–Lac-Saint-Jean have taken part in the survey since mid-January.
