Arianna Jocxybel Parra Oliveros, 16 years old, was stabbed to death on Thursday, allegedly by her ex-boyfriend Francisco Saltrón, 20 years old.
Information made it known on Twitter events journalist Román Camacho, who reported that the event occurred in the popular sector of Los Mangos, La Vega parish, Caracas.
Relatives of the victimwho were in the Bello Monte morgue, reported that the young woman, who was an athlete, had ended her romantic relationship with the person involved, but that the man did not accept the separation and harassed her with calls and persecution.
The facts
Camacho told the social network that, according to the family’s account, on Thursday around 4:00 in the afternoon, the teenager was at home with her 4-year-old sister, when Francisco Saltrón began calling her on phone, but Arianna didn’t answer.
The young woman, who lived in a house in Los Mangos de La Vega, had a towel drying herself in a window of the house. The piece fell to the street and Arianna went to look for it. Leaving her, Francisco surprised her and subdued her inside the house. There he began to beat her; and according to Camacho, the man with a knife stabbed her 10 times. All this happened in front of the victim’s youngest sister.
Arianna, bloodied, still alive, screamed for help. After being heard, an uncle who lives near her took her to the Perez Carreño hospital, where she died. Camacho said the suspect in the homicide is being held at El Helicoide.
Arianna Jocxybel Parra Oliveros was in her fifth year of high school and was part of the volleyball team at the National Sports Institute (IND).
