Shawl’s inverted house is in Guatevita, Colombia. The house is designed not only from the front but also from the inside. Instead of walking on the floor, you can walk on the ceiling. The position of the furniture in the house is upside down. That is, the position of the furniture, including the sofa, bed, and chair, will be above our heads as we walk through the ceiling.

Fritz Shawl is a great designer. Shall said that when he first came up with the idea of ​​building a head-turning house, no one believed him and even questioned whether he was crazy. During a trip to Austria with his grandchildren in 2015, he saw the upside-down house and thought he wanted to build one.

The first upside-down house was built in 2007 by European architect Daniel Sapiveski. It was in Simbark, Poland. Later, similar houses were built in other countries, including Austria and Russia.
